Your safety, and the safety of our team members, is always our top priority. To ensure a seamless entry into the park and for the most enjoyable visit possible, please review the following information. We want to help you be prepared before you visit the park.
Story Land has enhanced our security standards and all bags, coolers and stroller/wagons will go through a security screening at the front of the park prior to entering. To reduce wait times into the park, we ask you bring only necessary items in a bag no larger than 15” x 15” x 15”, bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags larger than this size will be permitted into the park. Guests are still welcome to obtain a handstamp at the exit of the park for reentry but all reentry will be subject to additional screening.
Story Land allows one bag per guest with a maximum size of 15” x 15” x 15” into the park, in addition to one soft sided cooler 12”x12”x12”. Exceptions will be made for bags holding child supplies and medical bags. No alcohol or glass containers will be permitted. Hard-sided coolers are not allowed into Story Land, no exceptions. Nostalgia Night Event Bag Policy differs, learn more here.
Story Land allows sealed non-alcoholic drinks (no glass) into the park and empty water bottles for filling inside the park. Open beverages should be finished prior to entry.
Story Land is open rain or shine*! If a driving rainstorm unexpectedly begins after guests have entered the park, and continues for at least a half-hour with no sign of relief in the forecast guests will receive rain checks as they exit the park during the time of the storm. Rain checks are valid only for the current season. We do not refund admission dollars. Please note: For your safety some rides and attractions may temporarily close due to lightning or heavy rain. Rain checks are not issued at the end of the day.
*Severe forecasted rain and weather events may impact operation. In the event of severe weather, Story Land may enact a full or early closure on affected operating days. Guests will be notified of any operational adjustments via email (if you have a date specific ticket), our website and social accounts along with in-park announcements if applicable. Rain checks or reservation adjustments will be provided.
